What will you be wearing this party season?
We are well and truly into the party season for the 2018 Christmas and New Year celebrations, which of course means endless outfits for events and special occasions! This year I’m trying to be a bit more adventurous with what I’m wearing, including adding some ‘different’ options rather than always reaching for my favourite dresses.
Here are 4 types of outfits I’ll be rockin’ this party season - I’d love to know what you’ll be wearing!
THE SUIT SET
The suit set is something new for me but I am absolutely obsessed! Blazers are one of my truest of loves, so to be completely honest, I can’t believe I haven’t jumped on this one sooner. A party outfit like this just oozes sophistication, also while being fashionable and bending the ‘dress’ option ever so slightly. If you’ve got 100 parties to go to this season, it’s easy to get over wearing dresses, and I think this is such a good, fun option for something different!
It’s pretty common knowledge that a little black dress is up there with my favourite things in the world, so it’s no surprise that an LBD has to make the cut for outfits I’m loving this party season! There’s so much to choose from when it comes to a LBD, and it’s also an easy outfit choice that has maximum impact. If you’re opting for the LBD this season, go for some statement accessories or shoe options to stand out!

ALL WHITE VIBES
Okay so I must admit, I’m most definitely jealous of all the snow in the Northern Hemisphere around Christmas time, but then I remember that we get to wear lots of linen and bikinis!
For a warm climate festive season and a more laid-back party vibe, you can’t go wrong with anything from the Queens of the linen game - Steele. There’s a level of sophistication that comes wiht a crop and wide leg, high waisted pant set - so I will definitely be wearing this to indulge in some festivities in the sunshine this holiday season!
I have very much latched onto the silk midi skirt lately and for good reason - it literally goes with anything. I’ve worn this bad boy with t-shirts, crop tops, silk tanks, button up shirts - the list goes on! You can totally create a sophisticated, party look with this one, especially by adding some statement jewellery, so it’s certainly something I’ll be giving a workout this party season.
